If you are using a Hybrid Halter, these are rarely needed as a horse pushes on you very little with his poll. However, in some training situations with your HybridHalter when you want to step up control or encourage a poll yield, or with a flat leather halter that is not a Hybrid, you may find some training benefit by the usage of this replacement stiff rope and leather poll strap.

Will not break away in case of pullback. If you need breakaway safety use an all leather poll.
